Compression Gas Springs
Our most popular compression gas spring is the fixed force range. It is an extremely versatile product offering a solution for a range of engineering situations. This gas spring is available in both carbon and stainless steel, in an extensive range of sizes, and end fittings for a wide variety of applications.
Lift gas springs, also known as compression gas springs or gas struts, operate by extending when at rest and compressing when force is applied. These springs have only two positions, the shortest and the longest, and lack the ability to halt mid-travel. Standard compression gas springs function as extended, self-contained force generators, featuring a rod connected to a piston with an orifice that moves within a sealed cylinder. The cylinder houses high-pressure nitrogen, generating force during extension.
Renowned for their lightness, smooth operation, ease of use, and cost-effectiveness, compression gas springs find extensive applications in various industries, including automobile construction, engineering, furniture manufacturing, leisure and household appliances, medical technology, and more.
